Maggie chan
Graphic Designer
Hello, my name is Maggie and I am a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I majored in graphic design. I believe that good design isn’t simply something that looks aesthetically pleasing, but is also something that moves the viewer both emotionally, and physically, enough so that they want to take action. I am a huge enthusiast of the color yellow, and will ask questions a mile a minute, when needed. But never at a half shout, like the color yellow.

While I was in school I worked at Beth Tondreau Design as a Graphic Design intern where I learned the finer points of publications design, and how to work with editors and apply edits to larger publications. After graduated I took on another design internship at Bayard Advertising, and mostly handled the social media graphics, and other works for clients. My last internship was at CB Insights, and while there I assisted the team by creating featured images for articles, laying out PDFs for online articles, and updating their web pages.
After working at my internships I was brought on to the graphic design team at CultureFly as part of their marketing team. There I was responsible for creating social media ads as well as posts for users to engage with. On top of that I also helped photographed products for the website as well as for advertisements.

Aside from design, I love illustrating and dabbling in pixel art and creating illustrated gifs. It helps loosen my mind from being all design 24/7, forces me to work in smaller parameters, and is just a fun reprieve.
