During the summer of 2019, I had the pleasure of interning at CB Insights. A company that consolidates data sources around the many facets of tech and finance, and make it more digestible for users.
Hack day
Featured image
Every year CBI hosts an event every quarter called 'Hack Day'. This event is a 24 hour challenge of sorts where folks in the company are encouraged to work on any project that relates to the company for 24 hours. The project could be anything so long as it relates to CBI, and can be worked on by an individual or a team.

Before hack day commenced in full swing I was tasked with making a featured image, a t-shirt design meant to be distributed to all participants, as well as a GIF to kick off the event.

Featured Images
While in CBI I assisted the junior designer and design lead with creating featured images for articles that CBI publishes. To create these images I used existing illustration assets from the CBI library and composited them together into completely new images. If there was something I needed but did not exist in the current library, then I drew it myself.
